The most important component of a hot water cylinder is the inner tank. It must perform under pressure, at high temperatures and survive in an aggressively corrosive environment. The Mainstream Xstream Range of hot water cylinders has a solid, high strength corrosion resistant Derakane® Epoxy-Vinylester inner tank to tackle these problems.The Xstream cylinder has a Registered Worldwide Patent. The cylinder has FDA approval in the United States and is manufactured under ISO 9001:2000 standards.
Use with Solar
The Mainstream Cylinder is solar compatible. The Sun heats the solar collector and the water circulates directly between the panel and cylinder. The Mainstream Cylinder also features electrical backup heaters.Corrosion Free
Corrosion has always been a serious problem for the inner tanks of hot water cylinders. That problem has been solved thanks to composites and in particular the Epoxy Vinyl Ester composition of the Xstream cylinders. This Derakane® Epoxy-Vinylester tank is corrosion and electrolysis free; it requires no sacrificial anode and is fitted with incaloy elements, thus reducing maintenance costs. It can be used indoors and outdoors as is UV-resistant, while offering excellent insulation properties, thus minimizing heat loss and saving electricity.Easy Installation
The Mainstream Cylinder is half as heavy as a conventional hot water cylinder (excluding copper) per size. This means it is easy to handle, easy to transport and easy to install!Features
